La Rinconada hosts 86th Clásico Sprinters racing meeting

The La Rinconada racetrack is set to host its 34th racing meeting of the year on Sunday, August 30. The event will feature 12 races, including the 86th edition of the Clásico Sprinters (GI) at a distance of 1,200 meters.

The Clásico Sprinters features a field of ten horses, including two mares: Etna’s Napper, trained by Yorvis Villamizar, and the undefeated Violence and Peace, trained by Oscar Manuel González. If either mare wins, they will become only the sixth female to win this classic in over 80 years of history.

Other notable competitors mentioned for the day include Invader, Feedstock, and Inalcanzable. The 5y6 Nacional betting pool is expected to reach approximately 800 million bolívares.
