Trainer Todd Pletcher nears 6,000 career wins as his horses dominate Saratoga races

U.S. trainer Todd Pletcher added five more victories at the Saratoga meeting, bringing his career total to 5,997 wins and edging closer to the 6,000‑win milestone. His stable won the Jim Dandy Stakes with Tuscan Sky, the Pinpoint race, and the Life Changing debut, among others.

At Colonial Downs, the colt Burnham Square captured the Arlington Million, a Grade‑1 race with a guaranteed purse of $1 million, after a strong finish under jockey Brian Hernández Jr.

In Uruguay, the San Félix Hipódromo completed its eighth meeting of the year with eight races, highlighted by Campari winning the Preferential “Ex. Compositor Ramón Baccaro” and Dólar Fever taking the Preferential “Ex. Compositor Ángel A. Arballo”. Total betting handled 1.82 million Uruguayan pesos.
