La Rinconada prepares for Clásico Gelinotte and celebrates recent racing victories

The La Rinconada racetrack is preparing for a significant day of horse racing on Sunday, September 13, featuring 14 races. A highlight of the program is the XXIII edition of the Clásico Gelinotte (GII), a race for three-year-old fillies covering 1,400 meters. The event features a notable matchup between Mora Linda, trained by Fernando Parilli Tota, and the undefeated Fatima Blush, a daughter of the stallion Gun Runner.

In recent racing news at the same venue, trainer Jorge Salvador secured his first Group I victory at La Rinconada with the mare Marakovits in the Clásico Internacional Cruz del Ávila (GI). Marakovits, owned by Stud G. A. - Ferálico, won the race decisively, marking her fifth victory in 14 starts and continuing a streak of consecutive wins in selective tests.
