La Rioja Governor visits AJALAR to mark 52nd anniversary

La Rioja Governor Ricardo Quintela visited the offices of the Provincial Administration of Games of Chance (AJALAR) to commemorate the organization’s 52nd anniversary and the Day of the Gambling Employee.

During the visit, Quintela emphasized the agency's role in regulating gambling and its importance in funding provincial public policies. He also addressed the issue of gambling addiction, noting the need for mental health approaches and responsible gaming policies. The Governor expressed his commitment to maintaining the agency's autonomy while improving control mechanisms.

AJALAR Administrator Ramón Vera announced the introduction of new, high-end gaming machines, which will begin distribution across agencies in the capital city. La Rioja is noted as the second province in Argentina to implement this specific technology.
