La Rioja launches Federal Sports Raffle to support local athletes

The Government of La Rioja has launched the second edition of the Federal Sports Raffle through the Ministry of Development, Equality and Social Integration. The initiative aims to generate resources to support local athletes, sports clubs, teams, and intermediate institutions.

Funds raised from the raffle, which features tickets priced at $10,000, will be used to cover expenses related to infrastructure, clothing, equipment, and travel for competitions both within Argentina and abroad. Prizes for participants include motorcycles, bicycles, appliances, and tablets. Minister Alfredo Menem noted that the initiative seeks to promote inclusion and provide opportunities in response to a lack of national funding for sports and culture.
