La Rioja leads patient follow-up in PRIMECARE cardiovascular research

The province of La Rioja achieved the highest proportion of patient follow-up among participating teams in the PRIMECARE research project. This initiative focused on improving the prevention, early detection, and treatment of cardiovascular risk within the public health system through the use of digital tools.

The project's closing ceremony involved representatives from the Institute of Clinical and Sanitary Effectiveness (IECS) and Harvard University. Despite challenges such as the pandemic, staff changes, and reagent availability, the health teams from CAPS San Vicente, Antártida, and La Cañada were recognized for their commitment to the study.
