La Roca de la Sierra to host gastronomy and astronomy event

La Roca de la Sierra is launching a nocturnal experience titled ‘La Roca, sabores del universo,’ which integrates gastronomy, astronomy, and virtual reality. Promoted by Turismo de la Diputación de Badajoz, the initiative aims to highlight local products from the Los Baldíos region, including protected designation of origin (DOP) oils and foods.

The event includes a ‘gastroastronomy’ workshop where participants create dishes inspired by cosmic textures and shapes. The program also features astronomical observations in a natural setting, augmented and virtual reality workshops, and a wine tasting that explores the relationship between wine colors and stellar composition. The activity is scheduled for the evening of October 16 and is limited to 35 participants.
