La Romana City Council celebrates 125 years of history

The La Romana City Council celebrated its 125th anniversary with an institutional ceremony attended by national and local authorities. The event included Vice President Raquel Peña and Mayor Eduardo Kery Metivier.

Participants included various leaders from the cultural, religious, academic, and business sectors, such as the Minister of Culture, Roberto Ángel Salcedo, and representatives from Central Romana. The commemoration highlighted the municipality's historical role in the development of the eastern region of the Dominican Republic, emphasizing its economic, tourist, and business significance.
