La Réunion athletes represent France at Beach Tennis European Championships

Eight young athletes from La Réunion have been selected to represent France at the Junior Beach Tennis European Championships, held in Heraklion, Crete, from September 19 to 22.

Representing half of the sixteen-player French delegation, the athletes include Tom Dupuy, Ulysse Beal, Emma Rivat, Chanelle Dupuy, Meyli Navarre, Marie Gérard, Noah Say, and Raphaël Payet. These players recently achieved success at the French national championships.

Noah Say, a 17-year-old U18 vice-champion, has relocated to Bordeaux to further his sporting career. Due to the high costs of international travel, equipment, and competition fees in a developing sport, Say has launched a fundraising campaign via the ‘Soutiens ton Sportif’ platform to support his upcoming tournaments in Brazil and the Antilles.
