La Réunion hosts Miss Réunion and Miss International pageants

La Réunion is preparing for two major beauty pageants in August 2026. The Miss Réunion 2026 election will take place this Saturday, August 22, featuring twelve candidates competing to succeed Priya Padavatan. The event will be broadcast live on Antenne Réunion and will include a guest appearance by Miss France 2026, Hinaupoko Devèze.

Additionally, the island will host its first official Miss International Réunion election on August 29, 2026, at the Halle François Mitterrand in Saint-Joseph. Organized by the association Vague du Sud, this inaugural event will select an ambassador to represent the territory at the Miss International competition in Japan this November. Ten candidates are currently competing for the title, which will be passed from the previous representative, Manon K/BIDI.
