La Salle College students participate in Belgian mobility project
For the second consecutive year, 22 students from La Salle College are traveling to Belgium as part of a student mobility project. Funded by the Erasmus+ program, the initiative aims to provide students with an intensive experience of international student life.
The project was established through a network created by the school in collaboration with Ghent University and Hogeschool Gent. During their stay, students are integrated into the Belgian education system, following a set schedule and exploring various disciplines including healthcare, biotechnology, ICT, data management, and technical fields such as construction and woodworking.
According to Director Rudiane Engelhart, the program helps Aruban students gain a realistic perspective on studying abroad. While previous educational focuses were primarily on the Netherlands, students are increasingly looking toward international options such as Belgium, Canada, and the United States.
