La Salle Green Archers secure blowout win over UE in UAAP basketball

The La Salle Green Archers secured a 112-87 victory against the UE Red Warriors in the UAAP Season 89 Men’s Basketball tournament on October 4. The win follows two consecutive losses for the defending champions, bringing their record to 2-2.

Head coach Topex Robinson noted that the team is focusing on internal improvement and navigating an unpredictable season. Despite the momentum from the blowout win, Robinson emphasized that the squad still has significant work to do to reach championship form. The Green Archers are currently tied in the standings with the NU Bulldogs, UP Fighting Maroons, and UST Growling Tigers.

La Salle is preparing for a demanding week featuring three games in seven days, beginning with a matchup against their rivals, the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
