La Sexta premieres 'Congelados' game show

La Sexta is launching 'Congelados', a new prime-time game show hosted by Ángel Llácer. Produced by Fremantle, the program is an adaptation of the Japanese format 'Freeze' and is designed to test the patience, self-control, and physical resistance of celebrities.

Participants must remain completely motionless and avoid reacting to various stimuli, such as exploding balloons or unexpected costumed characters, while inside a room known as 'El Congelador'. The competition features three captains—Silvia Abril, Miki Nadal, and Lorena Castell—who lead rotating pairs of celebrity guests.

The contestants compete across four elimination rounds to accumulate points. In the final stage, participants face a challenge involving melting ice cubes to determine who can best resist impulses. The competition offers a prize of 3,000 euros, which is designated for a charitable cause.
