Léa Seydoux discusses role in ‘Gentle Monster’ at TIFF

Actress Léa Seydoux discussed her role in the drama ‘Gentle Monster’ during the Toronto International Film Festival. The film, which premiered at Cannes and will later be released on Netflix, follows an experimental musician who relocates to the countryside following a psychological episode.

Seydoux revealed that she initially feared she would not be cast in the film due to difficulties in scheduling a meeting with writer-director Marie Kreutzer. She also noted her intention to portray a ‘real body’ in the film’s nude scenes, following her recent experience as a new mother.
