Léa Seydoux named president of the 2027 César Awards

French actress Léa Seydoux has been selected by the Académie des César to preside over the 52nd César Awards. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Thursday, February 25, 2027, at L'Olympia in Paris.

Seydoux succeeds Camille Cottin as president. The event will be broadcast live and exclusively by Canal+. While Seydoux has previously received a Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival for ‘La Vie d'Adèle’, she has not yet won a César, though she has received multiple nominations throughout her career.

In recent professional appearances, Seydoux attended the 70th BFI London Film Festival for the premiere of her film ‘Gentle Monster’, where she represented Louis Vuitton.
