La Seyne-sur-Mer to host 16th Bulles en Seyne comic festival

The 16th edition of the “Bulles en Seyne” comic book and youth literature festival is scheduled for October 3 and 4, 2026, at the Bourse du Travail in La Seyne-sur-Mer. The event features approximately twenty international authors, including artists and colorists from France, Sweden, and Canada.

This year’s festival is under the honorary presidency of Arnaud Dollen. The official poster was created by Jérôme Alquié, known for the “Capitaine Albator” trilogy. The program includes book signings, exhibitions, and animations. A major exhibition titled “L’univers de Jérôme Alquié” will be hosted at the Bourse du Travail during the festival and will continue throughout October at the Andrée Chédid media library.

In addition to artistic showcases, the festival includes a civic dimension with the association France-ADOT 83, which will present an educational comic book regarding organ donation. Other activities include board games related to the world of comics provided by the association Les Yeux dans les Jeux.
