La Vida Bohème to release new album to support Venezuelan musicians

Venezuelan band La Vida Bohème has announced the release of their new album, ‘Falla/ Boconó’, scheduled for November 5 exclusively on Bandcamp. While the project was developed prior to recent seismic activity, the band has decided to use the release to support the ‘Volver a sonar’ initiative.

This solidarity project, created by the band members in collaboration with Nexos, aims to aid musicians affected by the double earthquakes that occurred in Venezuela in late June. The first phase of the initiative seeks to raise approximately $25,000 to assist 51 musicians from the Orquesta Sinfónica Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho.

Funds will be directed toward providing labor continuity kits, instrument repairs, lutherie services, and other essential tools required for these professionals to continue their work. The announcement coincides with the band’s Latin Grammy nomination for ‘Tierra de nadie’ in the Best Pop/Rock Album category and their planned return to Venezuela.
