La Vigne du Partage harvests 3,000 kg of grapes for charity

The association La Vigne du Partage organized its annual solidarity grape harvest in Buxeuil, France. On August 15, 55 volunteers gathered to harvest approximately 3,000 kilograms of grapes.

Since 1985, this initiative has raised nearly 40,000 euros annually to support those in need. The proceeds from the harvest are distributed to organizations including CCFD-Terre Solidaire, Secours Catholique, and two specific projects in Cameroon.

The operation relies entirely on volunteerism and donated resources; local suppliers provide supplies, while insurance and banking services are offered free of charge. Volunteers range from experienced professionals who assist with pruning to beginners who learn the trade during the event.
