La Voz 2026 begins blind auditions in Spain

The 2026 season of the talent competition ‘La Voz’ has commenced in Spain with the first round of blind auditions. The season features coaches Pablo López, Melendi, Lola Índigo, and Mika. The premiere included a collaborative performance of ‘102 segundos’, a song composed by Pablo López specifically for the program.

During the initial auditions, coaches utilized strategic maneuvers such as ‘superblocks’ and ‘megablocks’ to secure contestants. Pablo López emerged as a prominent figure in the first night, successfully recruiting several talents, including Adriana Moreno, Pablo Mónica, Leticia, and Lucía, who had previously appeared on ‘La Voz Kids’. Melendi also began building his team by selecting two contestants.

Amidst the program's launch, Melendi addressed recent controversy regarding comments made by Dani Martín about the show. Melendi defended the responsibility and emotional weight felt by the coaches, stating that those who do not experience the process cannot fully understand the intensity of the competition.
