La Vuelta 2026: Team rosters and educational partnerships announced

Preparations for the 2026 La Vuelta a España are underway, with professional teams and educational partners announcing new initiatives and rosters.

Movistar Team has confirmed its lineup, which will be led by Enric Mas and Cian Uijtdebroeks. Following the absence of Nairo Quintana, the team aims for the general classification while utilizing a versatile squad including Iván Romeo, Pablo Castrillo, and Carlos Canal to pursue stage wins.

Pinarello - Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team has also revealed its roster, focusing on stage hunting rather than the general classification. The team features Eddie Dunbar and David de la Cruz, supported by a Spanish contingent including Xabier Mikel Azparren and David González.

In a separate development, Kahoot! has announced a multi-year partnership with La Vuelta and La Vuelta Femenina. This collaboration will use interactive quizzes to teach students about the history, geography, and culture of the race, with a particular emphasis on the Andalusian stages scheduled for September 2026.
