Authorities are preparing for the 17th stage of La Vuelta 2026, scheduled for September 9. The 185-to-189 kilometer route will run from Dos Hermanas to Sevilla, passing through twelve different municipalities.

To ensure the safety of the 184 professional cyclists and thousands of spectators, a massive security operation will be deployed. This includes over 650 personnel from the Guardia Civil, National Police, and traffic authorities. The Guardia Civil will mobilize 311 agents, supported by the National Police and traffic control units.

In Alcalá de Guadaíra, the peloton is expected to arrive between 15:41 and 15:53. The route through the municipality will include various streets such as Avenida Santa Lucía, Calle Arahal, and Avenida 28 de Febrero before exiting toward Mairena del Alcor via the A-392. Local authorities have implemented special traffic and security measures to manage the race caravan and the movement of the riders.
