La Vuelta 2026 stages traverse Huelva, Sevilla, and Cádiz
The 2026 edition of La Vuelta a España is progressing through several Spanish provinces, including Huelva, Sevilla, and Cádiz.
In Huelva, Stage 16 featured a 181.1-kilometer route from Cortegana to La Rábida, showcasing the region's diverse landscape. The stage involved significant road closures across various municipalities to accommodate the race.
Stage 17 will take place in Sevilla, covering 189 kilometers from Dos Hermanas to the provincial capital. The route is expected to favor sprinters due to its largely flat profile, with the finish line set at Paseo de Cristóbal Colón.
Stage 18 will be held in Cádiz, consisting of a 32.1-kilometer individual time trial starting at the Plaza de Toros in El Puerto de Santa María and ending in Jerez de la Frontera. Local authorities have implemented traffic restrictions and shuttle services to manage the expected crowds and ensure security during the high-speed event.
