LAB Token collapse drives 95% crash and deepens crypto market slump in July 2026
The LAB Token, the native token of the LAB Trade platform, collapsed in July 2026, losing nearly 99% of its value after a 95% crash that erased roughly $5 billion in market capitalization. The token peaked at $27.22 on 2 June 2026, then fell 77% within two hours and continued to tumble to $0.27 by mid‑July. The project showed a fully‑diluted valuation of $850 million versus a circulating market cap of $267 million, with liquidity at just 1.35% and daily trading volume representing more than half of its market cap, indicating extreme speculation and market panic.
At the same time, the broader cryptocurrency market recorded its lowest level since September 2024. According to CoinGecko’s Q2 2026 report, total crypto market capitalization dropped 12.6% to $2.1 trillion. Bitcoin fell below $58,000, its lowest price in over 18 months, while the stablecoin market cap declined to $305.1 billion, the first drop below that threshold since Q3 2023. Spot‑trading volume on centralized exchanges fell 27.9% to $1.95 trillion, underscoring a widespread correction across the sector.
