A two-year-old boy, identified as Mamadou Aliou Bah, died on the morning of Tuesday, October 27, 2026, after falling into a well in the Hôré Hollâdhé district of Labé.
The child's mother, Mariama Bobo Diallo, reported that she had taken the boy to their family vegetable garden to harvest tomatoes. While the child was sleeping on a mat under a tree, he reportedly fell into a well located within the garden.
