LABACE 2026 Business Aviation Expo Draws International Participants in São Paulo
The 21st Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE) took place from 4‑6 August 2026 at Campo de Marte Airport in São Paulo. Organized by the Brazilian General Aviation Association (ABAG), the event gathered aircraft manufacturers, operators, maintenance firms, technology providers, insurers, regulators and international bodies, showcasing over 150 brands and more than 14 000 visitors from the previous year. ABAG CEO Flávio Pires said the show has become the premier networking platform for business aviation in Latin America, reflecting the sector’s growth as Brazil holds the world’s second‑largest fleet of business aircraft.
Bombardier used LABACE as a key stop on its Latin‑American tour, unveiling the Challenger 3500 super‑midsize jet. The aircraft, with a range of 3 400 nm and a top speed of Mach 0.83, can fly nonstop routes such as São Paulo‑Bogotá and São Paulo‑Panama City. The tour also includes stops in Monterrey, Santo Domingo, Asunción, Santiago, Lima, Guayaquil, Quito, Bogotá and Panama City, highlighting Bombardier’s focus on sales, maintenance support and after‑sales service across the region.
