LABITCONF 2026 scheduled for October in Buenos Aires

The 14th edition of LABITCONF, the oldest Bitcoin and blockchain conference in the world, will take place on October 30 and 31 at Costa Salguero in Buenos Aires. The event serves as a major gathering for the Latin American cryptocurrency community to discuss regulatory, technological, and market trends.

The conference is expected to feature more than 200 talks and 150 speakers across various stages, including Orange Pill, Vision, ABC, Workshop, B2B by IKIGII, BitcoinAR, and La Bitcoineta. Organizers note that the industry is shifting from a hobbyist interest toward institutional use, with Bitcoin increasingly utilized as a store of value by both individuals and institutions.

Industry experts highlighted that institutional capital is entering the market through two primary channels: seeking returns via exposure to cryptocurrencies and adopting stablecoins to diversify and lower transaction costs.
