Labor Day weekend celebrations feature fireworks and festivals

Various communities are hosting events to celebrate the Labor Day weekend.

Playland Park in Westchester County will host three nights of fireworks on September 4, 5, and 7, with displays starting at 9 p.m. The park also features a Broadway-themed musical performance on Friday night. Admission to the park is free, though fees apply for rides and parking.

In the Cincinnati area, festivities include the WEBN Labor Day Fireworks at Sawyer Point and Yeatman’s Cove. Other regional activities include a post-game concert by Ludacris at Great American Ball Park, Apple Fest at Hidden Valley Orchards, and the ninth annual Loveland Art Festival. Additionally, the Village of Lincoln Heights is celebrating its 80th incorporation anniversary with a parade, music, and fireworks.
