Labor Party reports growth and strengthening in Puebla and Zacatecas

The Labor Party (PT) is reporting significant growth and organizational strength across various Mexican states as it prepares for upcoming electoral processes.

In Puebla, party leadership identified the state as a primary electoral stronghold. During an extraordinary state congress, state leader Lizeth Sánchez García noted that the party's territorial structure has multiplied, aiming toward the 2027 elections. Data presented indicated a 130% increase in votes for municipal governments between 2018 and 2024, rising from 89,204 to 205,354 votes. Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier reaffirmed that his administration operates under the shared ideological principles of the PT, Morena, and the Green Party.

In Zacatecas, Tania Valentina Rodríguez Ruiz, president of the National Association of Local Legislators of the PT, emphasized the party's unity and territorial organization. During an informative assembly, she highlighted the party's readiness to defend the national sovereignty and the 'transformation project' in the region, specifically supporting the political trajectory of Senator Geovanna Bañuelos.
