Regional training initiatives launched in Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and Argentina

Various regional initiatives are focusing on specialized training and professional development across Latin America and the Caribbean.

In the Dominican Republic, INFOTEP, INTRANT, and other partners have launched a Sustainable Mobility Technical Course. This seven-module program aims to develop specialized expertise to address transportation and mobility challenges through the Euroclima program.

In Ecuador, the Municipios Azules project, led by the Corporación Agua Para Todos, has provided training to 78 leaders from 33 water management boards in Santa Elena, Riobamba, and Guano. The training covers technical, administrative, and environmental aspects to improve the management of drinking water and sanitation services for over 26,000 users.

In Argentina, several municipal and union-led training programs are underway. The Sindicato de Trabajadores Municipales (STM) in General Pueyrredon has partnered with the College of Psychologists for worker training. In Santiago del Estero, municipalities are participating in an international diploma in addictions to strengthen local response capacities. Additionally, the Luz y Fuerza San Juan union held a course on social consciousness for its members.
