Laboratorio IH invests $30 billion in new Colombian production plant

Laboratorio IH is investing approximately $30 billion (local currency) to construct a new 12,000-square-meter automated production plant in Funza, Cundinamarca. The facility is scheduled to begin operations in April 2027.

The investment aims to increase production capacity and meet market demands for scalability and rapid development. This move follows a 30% increase in sales for the company during the first half of 2026. Laboratorio IH is also pursuing international expansion, specifically targeting Venezuela as a key growth market.
