Labrador retriever leads UK police to owner's hiding spot

A Labrador retriever led police to its owner, Charles Foy, in Runcorn, Cheshire, following a police chase. The incident occurred when Foy, 41, attempted to evade officers while riding an illegally used electric scooter on a public road.

During the pursuit, Foy was accompanied by two dogs. One of the animals, a Labrador, was unable to keep pace and was left behind. The dog subsequently drew the attention of officers and guided them toward a residence on Beaconsfield Road. Upon following the animal, police located Foy hiding in the attic of the property.

Foy was arrested and later sentenced to three months in prison and received a driving disqualification of four years and three months.
