Labu Komuter Station staff under investigation following passenger fight

Police are investigating a physical altercation between a station worker and a passenger at the Labu Komuter Station. The incident, which was captured in a viral video, reportedly occurred following a train delay lasting more than four hours.

According to Nilai District Police Chief Superintendent Johari Yahya, the video shows two men fighting. The confrontation allegedly began after an elderly passenger inquired about the delay and received an unpleasant response from a staff member, prompting another male passenger to intervene.

Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) stated that a contractor employee involved in the incident has been suspended immediately. KTMB clarified that the individual is not a direct employee of the company but a staff member of a contractor appointed to provide services at the station. The case is being investigated under Section 160 of the Penal Code.
