Laceno completes technical testing of new ski lift systems
The testing phase for the new ski lift systems at Laceno has been successfully completed, marking a major milestone for the region's tourism infrastructure. Following the testing of the Settevalli chairlift, all other lift systems have also undergone technical verification to ensure compliance with safety standards.
The project involved replacing old infrastructure with modern technological solutions designed to support year-round mountain activities. While the technical testing is finished, local authorities in Bagnoli Irpino noted that civil works and interventions on existing infrastructure must still be finalized before the site can officially reopen.
Local officials, including Mayor Nigro, described the achievement as the result of years of complex administrative processes and significant public investment. The revitalization of the Laceno plateau is intended to boost local tourism, create employment opportunities, and provide new prospects for the youth in the area.
