Lacey Turner to join Strictly Come Dancing and return to EastEnders

Lacey Turner, known for her long-running role as Stacey Slater on the BBC soap EastEnders, is set to participate in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing. Turner expressed that while she has always wanted to join the show, she previously felt she lacked the bravery to do so. She noted that her decision to join this year was influenced by her current schedule, as she is not working on EastEnders full-time this year.

In addition to her dance floor debut, Turner is reportedly returning to EastEnders for a short stint. She is expected to reprise her role as Stacey Slater for a few episodes, which are slated to be filmed in October and November. These episodes are anticipated to air during the Christmas and New Year period, potentially featuring her character's brother, Sean.
