LACMA Art + Film Gala 2026 honors Vija Celmins and Denis Villeneuve

The 15th annual LACMA Art + Film Gala took place on November 7, 2026, at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Co-chaired by actor Leonardo DiCaprio and museum trustee Eva Chow, the fundraising event supports the institution’s mission to expand its film programming, exhibitions, and educational initiatives.

This year’s honorees included Latvian-American visual artist Vija Celmins and filmmaker Denis Villeneuve. The evening also featured a musical performance by BLACKPINK’s Rosé.

Presented by Gucci, the gala drew a wide array of prominent figures from the film, fashion, and music industries. Notable attendees included Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy, Paris Hilton, and Andrew Garfield. The red carpet showcased high-fashion designs from houses such as Gucci, Chanel, Ashi Studio, and vintage Pierre Cardin.
