LACMA introduces new teacher course and fashion art tours

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has introduced a new online course designed for kindergarten through sixth-grade teachers. The program aims to help educators integrate museum experiences into core classroom subjects, fostering critical thinking, visual literacy, and diverse learning styles through art exploration.

Additionally, the museum is offering docent-led tours at the David Geffen Galleries. These 30-minute sessions, titled ‘In Focus Tour: Fashion in Art’, examine the artistry of fashion, costume, and textiles through specific objects within the LACMA collection.
