LAComicsFestival Vol. 8 returns to Larissa in September 2026

The 8th edition of the LAComicsFestival is scheduled to take place from September 4 to September 6, 2026, at the Papapas Mill in Larissa, Greece. This international festival focuses on comics, illustration, and street art.

The event will feature over 140 artists and creators from Greece and abroad. The program includes five exhibitions, three murals, and more than 30 activities such as animation, gaming, workshops, stand-up comedy, live music, and DJ sets. Admission to all activities is free.

Portuguese illustrator and street artist Francisco Fonseca is the central international guest and creator of the official festival poster. He will present a solo exhibition titled ‘Different Roads’ and lead a workshop titled ‘Building a Miniature City with Paper’. Fonseca will also create a new large-scale mural in Larissa to leave a permanent artistic mark on the city.
