Lacrimas Profundere announces new album and single

Gothic metal band Lacrimas Profundere has announced the release of their 14th studio album, titled ‘Lay Me Down O Silent Fear’. The upcoming record marks a stylistic evolution for the group, blending their traditional Gothic roots with modern elements such as metalcore, death metal, and electronic sounds.

In conjunction with the album announcement, the band has released a new single and music video for the track ‘Faceless’. The song is described as a mix of dark Gothic atmosphere and modern metalcore influences, featuring heavy guitars paired with a melodic, anthemic chorus. This follows previous singles including ‘Nevermore’ and ‘O Silent Fear’.

The band, led by founding member Oliver Nikolas Schmidt and vocalist Julian Larre, is also planning a tour for 2026.
