Ladislav Řepík wins regional Road Worker Rodeo in Kralovice

Ladislav Řepík from the Horažďovice center has won the regional round of the Road Worker Rodeo (Cestářské rodeo) held in Kralovice. Competing against road maintenance professionals from the Plzeň and Karlovy Vary regions, Řepík completed the demanding course in 3 minutes and 56 seconds.

The competition tested participants on speed, precision, and technical skill, which are essential for daily road network maintenance. A total of 31 drivers from the Plzeň Region and 14 from the Karlovy Vary Region participated. Following the regional results, ten drivers from Plzeň and five from Karlovy Vary advanced to the afternoon finals.

As the winner for the Plzeň Region, Řepík has earned the right to represent the Road Administration and Maintenance of the Plzeň Region (SÚSPK) at the national rodeo competition. The national event is scheduled to take place on October 14–15 at the Autodrom Sosnová near Česká Lípa. In the Karlovy Vary region, Jan Míčka from the Otovice center took first place with a time of 4:39.368.
