Ladispoli announces Ferragosto celebrations at Marina di Palo

The municipality of Ladispoli is hosting its third annual “Una Notte Lunga un Giorno” project to celebrate Ferragosto on August 14 and 15. The initiative aims to balance summer festivities with coastal protection and public safety.

Marina di Palo will serve as the only public beach accessible beyond standard hourly limits. The area will be specially equipped to host the traditional midnight swim, accompanied by musical performances from artists including Giorgio Prezioso, Luigi Petruzzi, William Imola, and Dimensione Suono Roma. The celebrations will conclude on August 15 with a fireworks display.

To ensure safety and environmental respect, the administration is coordinating with various authorities, including the Prefecture, Police, Coast Guard, and local volunteer associations. Mayor Alessandro Grando stated the goal is to provide a safe, organized space for the community to celebrate responsibly.
