Lafayette, Louisiana Shooting Leaves One Dead

Police responded to reports of a shooting on Sherwood Drive in Lafayette, Louisiana, on Friday, July 31, at about 4:21 p.m. Officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Lafayette Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division has taken over the case as a homicide investigation.
