Lafayette Parish reports 14 arrests including attempted murder

Fourteen individuals were arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center during the week of August 24 to August 28.

Notable charges include attempted first-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder. Other arrests involved domestic violence offenses, such as domestic abuse battery and domestic abuse child endangerment, as well as aggravated assault and violations of protective orders.

Additional bookings included charges for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, aggravated battery, and various outstanding warrants.
