LAFC signs forward Armindo Sieb from Bayern Munich
Los Angeles FC (LAFC) has announced the permanent signing of forward Armindo Sieb from FC Bayern Munich. The 23-year-old German-Mozambican player has signed a contract through the 2028-29 MLS season, with an option to extend through 2029-30.
Sieb joins LAFC as the second player transfer under the ‘Red&Gold’ football partnership between the two clubs, following Timothy Tillman. Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Christoph Freund, noted that the move represents an important career step for Sieb, stating that the player will be in ‘very good hands’ at the partner club.
Sieb previously spent time on loan at 1. FSV Mainz 05 and Greuther Fürth. He made his senior DFB-Pokal debut for Bayern Munich in 2020 at the age of 17. The transfer is expected to bolster LAFC’s attacking options as the club prepares for the 2026 Leagues Cup and upcoming MLS seasons.
