Lafitte and Séguéla reunite for film at Venice Film Festival

Director Tristan Séguéla and actor Laurent Lafitte have reunited for the film ‘Un bon avocat’, which premiered out of competition at the Venice Film Festival. Following their previous collaboration on the Netflix series ‘Tapie’, the duo returns with a story centered on Léonard Landry, a talented criminal defense lawyer struggling with cocaine addiction.

The plot follows Landry as he attempts to save his career after suffering an overdose during a court hearing. Simultaneously, he manages a corruption case involving a major French corporation suspected of financing terrorism in Africa, assisted by a young intern played by Anthony Bajon. The film is scheduled for release on Netflix on November 8.
