LaFleur Minerals reports gold discovery at Bartec target

LaFleur Minerals Inc. has reported a new gold discovery at its Bartec target within the Swanson Gold Project in Quebec’s Abitibi Gold Belt. Drilling at hole SW-26-124 returned an intersection of 6.05 g/t Au over 8.00 metres, which includes a high-grade interval of 14.96 g/t Au over 3.00 metres. This discovery is located approximately 5 kilometres from the main Swanson deposit and sits roughly 30 metres below the surface.

The company also reported results from other regional targets, including the Jackson and Jolin areas. At Jackson, a hole returned 1.45 g/t Au over 7.70 metres, while at Jolin, results included 1.77 g/t Au over 6.45 metres. These results are part of a broader 64-hole regional drilling program totaling over 25,570 metres.

In addition to exploration updates, LaFleur Minerals is negotiating a definitive agreement for a potential prepayment and offtake financing facility with Trafigura Canada Limited. The company intends to conduct further drilling along strike and down dip to determine the continuity and extent of the mineralized zones.
