Lagardère Travel Retail launches L’Officina restaurant at Warsaw Chopin Airport

Lagardère Travel Retail Poland opened L’Officina, an Italian‑style restaurant located in the public arrivals area of Warsaw Chopin Airport. The concept was developed entirely in‑house, from menu design featuring pizza, focaccia, gelato and premium espresso to visual identity and interior styling, and was unveiled during a ribbon‑cutting ceremony attended by senior airport and company executives.

The launch reflects a broader trend of rising food‑and‑beverage (F&B) spend at Polish airports, which is growing faster than overall passenger traffic. In the first half of 2026, Chopin Airport served nearly 12 million passengers, a 7.6 % increase year‑on‑year, while F&B sales grew about three times faster than traditional retail. Lagardère executives said the new format aims to capture this growth by offering a locally relevant, quick‑service dining experience that contributes to airport revenue and passenger satisfaction.
