Laghi Curiel hosts Uisp Day with over 5,000 participants

The third edition of Uisp Day took place at the Laghi Curiel in Campogalliano, attracting over 5,000 participants. The event focused on sports, nature, and inclusion, utilizing the area near the Secchia river expansion basins.

Activities included sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, dragon boat racing, fishing, and open water swimming. Local officials, including Mayor Daniela Tebasti and Vice-Mayor Damiano Pietri, highlighted the successful revitalization of the lakes, which were originally preserved gravel pits. The event was supported by the Ente Parchi Emilia Centrale and attended by MEP Stefano Bonaccini.
