Laglan Pastoral Company to be sold in Central Queensland
Laglan Pastoral Company, a major 101,600-hectare cattle operation in Central Queensland, is being sold on a ‘walk in, walk out’ basis. The sale includes 100 per cent of the company’s issued share capital, encompassing the Laglan and Madison rolling term leases.
Located 116km northwest of Clermont, the integrated breeding and fattening operation includes more than 11,000 cattle, plant, and equipment. The property has a demonstrated carrying capacity of approximately 14,500 adult cattle equivalents and operates primarily with Brahman-based stock.
The transaction is structured as a share sale, meaning water licences, cattle brands, and other operational registrations will remain with the company to ensure continuity for the buyer. The land features diverse terrain, including brigalow, gidgee scrub, and coolibah floodplains along the Belyando River, Fiery, and Fox creeks.
