Lagoa, Portugal unveils 22nd Conventual Sweet Fair, tickets for FATACIL 2026

The municipality of Lagoa will host the 22nd edition of the Mostra do Doce Conventual at the Centro Cultural Convento de São José from July 29 to August 2. The free‑entry event showcases traditional Portuguese convent sweets, live demonstrations and a cake‑design exhibition titled “Bem‑Vindos à Selva” by designer Ana Remígio, aiming to preserve culinary heritage and attract tourists.

From August 21 to 30, Lagoa will also hold FATACIL 2026 at the Parque Municipal de Feiras e Exposições. Daily tickets cost €5, family tickets €16 for four people over 12, and a 10‑day pass €30, with children under 12 entering free with ID. The fair’s programme includes performances by artists such as Tony Carreira, M80, Hybrid Theory and others, alongside agricultural, craft, tourism and gastronomic activities.
