Lagonegro hosts free Happy Arecreate 2026 music festival

The sixth edition of the Happy Arecreate festival will take place on 12 August 2026 in the historic centre of Lagonegro, a town in the province of Potenza, Basilicata, Italy. Admission is free and the programme blends live music, theatre, visual arts and local food.

The line‑up features regional acts Lumiero, Henna and MilleAlice, as well as a live show by Disco Club Paradiso, followed by a DJ set by local artists. The event is organised by the cultural association Arecreate, founded in 2020, with the patronage of the Lagonegro municipality and references to the UN 2030 Agenda for cultural regeneration of small towns. Additional activities include stage‑craft performances, live‑painting, nature excursions, guided tours of historic churches and an exhibition area for artisans.

Happy Arecreate has become a reference point for the young and music‑enthusiastic audience in Basilicata, attracting visitors from outside the region and promoting community engagement through a free, inclusive cultural offering.
